Approved Maritime Surveillance Equipment Under the Submarine Cables and Pipelines Protection Act 1996
Pursuant to section 35 of the Submarine Cables and Pipelines Protection Act 1996, I, Bruce Maroc, Acting Director of Maritime Safety, acting under delegated authority, hereby approve the following equipment as
approved maritime surveillance equipment for the purposes of the Submarine Cables and Pipelines Protection Act 1996.
Approved Maritime Surveillance Equipment
(a) Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ20 digital camera, serial number K4SF01587, when operated on a Cook Strait CPZ Patrol vessel for the purposes of the Submarine Cables and Pipelines Protection Act 1996.
(b) Panasonic NV-GS15GC digital video camera, serial number L4SA12796, when operated on a Cook Strait CPZ Patrol vessel or a HELiPRO helicopter, for the purposes of the Submarine Cables and Pipelines Protection Act 1996.
This notice comes into effect on 11 March 2005.

Pursuant to section 26 of the Local Government Act 2002, Her Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby makes the following order.

Title—This order may be cited as the Local Government (Southland Region) Reorganisation Amendment Order 2005 and shall be read together with and deemed part of the Local Government (Southland Region) Reorganisation Order 1989 (hereinafter referred to as "the principal order"), and the Local Government (Southland Region) Reorganisation Amendment Order 1993.

Commencement—This order comes into force on the day of its notification in the New Zealand Gazette.

Funds of Ohai Railway Board—Clause 90 of the principal order is hereby amended by omitting subclause 90 (5) and substituting the following subclause:
