Amendment to Food Standard (Notice No. 1411)

Pursuant to section 11G of the Food Act 1981, notice is given that the New Zealand (Maximum Residue Limits of Agricultural Compounds) Food Standards 2005 was issued by the Minister for Food Safety on 1 March 2005 and comes into force 28 days following publication of this notice in the New Zealand Gazette.

Trans-Tasman Mutual Recognition Act 1997

Notice of Intention to Make a Recommendation Under Section 82 (2) of the Trans-Tasman Mutual Recognition Act 1997

Pursuant to section 75 of the Trans-Tasman Mutual Recognition Act 1997 ("the Act"), I give notice of my intention to make a recommendation to the Governor-General, under section 82 (2), to make Regulations extending the exemption period referred to in section 82 (1) of the Act for a period of 12 months from 1 May 2005 in relation to the laws, and the provisions of the laws, specified or described in Schedule 3 of the Act.

The making of such a recommendation is subject to my being satisfied, as required by section 82 (2) of the Act, that no fewer than two-thirds of the participating jurisdictions have endorsed the terms of the proposed Regulations.
