Bay at the south-east of Manawatāwhi/Great Island, GR 323 819 and 34°09'45"S Latitude, 172°08'45"E Longitude. Currently named Tasman Bay on map and chart. Known also as Waterfall Bay.
Westland Land District
Receveur Peak
Peak at height 2609m on the Fox Range, 2.5km north-west of Mount Tasman, Topographic Map 260-H36 Mount Cook, GR 783 356. Spelling correction from Le Receveur Peak.
Canterbury Land District
Templers Islands
Rural area located between the Waimakariri River and the Christchurch International Airport, Topographic Map 260-M35 Christchurch, GR 720 500. Spelling correction from Templars Islands.
Otago Land District
Clearwater Creek
Stream flowing generally northerly from the Dunstan Mountains to its confluence with the Rise and Shine Creek, near Bendigo, Central Otago, Topographic Map 260-G41 Cromwell, from GR 277 737 to GR 272 788. Confirming the extent of the stream to which this name applies, and renaming the lower 2km section as part of Rise and Shine Creek.
Garretts Bush
An area of bush immediately surrounding Sticking Up Gully, located near Outram in the lower hills north of the Taieri Plains, from GR 897 805 on Topographic Map 260-H44 Lawrence to GR 909 808 on Topographic Map 260-I44 & J44 Dunedin. Not named on current mapping.
Rise and Shine Creek
Stream flowing generally north-westerly from the Dunstan Mountains to its confluence with the Bendigo Creek, near Bendigo, Central Otago, Topographic Map 260-G41 Cromwell, from GR 299 762 to GR 256 797. Confirming the extent of the stream to which this name applies by renaming the lower 2km section, which is currently shown as part of Clearwater Creek.
Sticking Up Gully
A small gully surrounded by Garretts Bush, located near Outram in the lower hills north of the Taieri Plains, from GR 897 805 on Topographic Map 260-H44 Lawrence to GR 909 808 on Topographic Map 260-I44 & J44 Dunedin. Not named on current mapping.

Notice of Final Decisions to Assign Place Names in the Ross Sea Region, Antarctica
Pursuant to the New Zealand Geographic Board Act 1946, notice is hereby given of the final decisions of the New Zealand Geographic Board Ngā Pou Taunaha o Aotearoa to assign the names stated in the first column of the Schedule below to the places described in the second column of the said Schedule and that such decisions took effect on 30 November 2004.
Schedule
Adare Trough
From 69°30'S Latitude, 172°00'E Longitude to 70°45'S Latitude, 173°00'E Longitude. Part of a striking seabed graben feature comprising two ridges separated by a trough, in north-west Ross Sea.
Airdevronsix Glacier
77°31'S Latitude, 160°20'E Longitude. A major glacier flowing south-east to the Airdevronsix Icefalls, which in turn feed the Wright Upper Glacier, McMurdo Dry Valleys. Topographic Maps: Webb Lake and Labyrinth (1:50,000).
Anderson Scarp
77°33'S Latitude, 161°21'E Longitude. An acclivity and cliff, 935m, 1.3km west of Hall Bluff on the Dais, Wright Valley, McMurdo Dry Valleys. Topographic Map: Lake Vanda (1:50,000).
Anvil Pond
77°32'55"S Latitude, 160°48'48"E Longitude. A freshwater frozen pond 1.3km west of Healy Trough in the Labyrinth of Wright Valley, McMurdo Dry Valleys. Topographic Map: Labyrinth (1:50,000).
Balsley Peak
77°38'S Latitude, 153°36'W Longitude. A distinctive peak, c.1100m, located 2.25km south-east of LaGorce Peak in Alexandra Mountains, Marie Byrd Land. Topographic Map: ST 5-8/5 Alexandra Mountains (1:250,000).
Mount Booth
77°26'S Latitude, 161°46'E Longitude. A peak, 1575m, surmounting the junction of mountain ridges at the south-west end of Murphy Valley in Olympus Range, McMurdo Dry Valleys. Topographic Map: Victoria Upper Lake (1:50,000).
Butler Summit
77°33'S Latitude, 161°06'E Longitude. A peak rising to c.1000m in the extreme west part of the Dais in Wright Valley, McMurdo Dry Valleys. Topographic Map: Lake Vanda (1:50,000).
Mount Cassidy
77°27'S Latitude, 160°47'E Longitude. A mountain, 1917m, which forms a salient angle in the north-east part of Prentice Plateau, Olympus Range, McMurdo Dry Valleys. Topographic Map: Webb Lake (1:50,000).
Cerberus Valley
77°26'S Latitude, 161°56'E Longitude. An upland valley between Mount Cerberus and Euros Ridge in East Olympus Range, McMurdo Dry Valleys. Topographic Map: Victoria Upper Lake (1:50,000).
