self-propelled barge:

Brandywine

in the protected area designated “Area 7 – Cook Strait” for
the purpose of repairs to the Cook Strait Cable at Oteranga
Bay from 10 February 2005 to 30 June 2005.

This notice comes into effect on and from the time of
publication of this notice on 10 February 2005.

Amendment Notice 2005

Pursuant to section 38 of the Securities Markets Act 1988,
the Securities Commission gives the following notice.

Notice

  1. Title and commencement—(1) This notice may be
    cited as the Authorised Futures Dealers Notice (No. 6) 2003
    Amendment Notice 2005 and is part of The Authorised
    Futures Dealers Notice (No. 6) 2003* (“the principal notice”).
    (2) This notice comes into force on the day after the date of
    its publication in the New Zealand Gazette.

  2. Amendments—(1) Clause 2 (1) of the principal notice is
    amended by deleting the term
    “CFA” and the definition of that term
    and replacing it with
    “BGC” means BGC Partners (Australia) Pty Limited.
    (2) The principal notice is amended by substituting for each
    reference to the term
    “CFA”
    the term
    “BGC”.

Transit New Zealand Act 1989

Revoking Sections of State Highway and Declaring
New Sections of State Highway—Waikato and
Bay of Plenty Region

Pursuant to section 60 of the Transit New Zealand Act 1989,
the Transit New Zealand Board gives notice that, with effect
from 12.00 midnight on 10 February 2005, the section of
State highway described in the First Schedule hereto is to be
revoked and the sections of road described in the Second
Schedule hereto are to be declared to be State highway
within the meaning and for the purpose of the Transit
New Zealand Act 1989.

First Schedule

At Ohinewai, the section of existing State Highway No. 1,
commencing from its northern intersection with the Waikato
Expressway and proceeding in a generally southerly direction
to its southern intersection with the Waikato Expressway
(Route Position 412/6.41 to Route Position 412/10.87);
a distance of 4.46 kilometres.

Second Schedule

  1. At Ohinewai, the section of State Highway No. 1,
    commencing on the Waikato Expressway from its
    northern intersection with the existing State Highway
    No. 1, and proceeding in a generally southerly direction
    to its southern intersection with the existing State
    Highway No. 1 (Route Position 412/6.41 to Route
    Position 412/10.64); a distance of 4.23 kilometres.

  2. At Tauranga, the section of State Highway No. 36 on
    Pyes Pa Road, Tauranga Direct Road, Hamurana Road
    and Ngongotaha Road commencing from the intersection
    with State Highway No. 29 (Barkes Corner) and
    proceeding in a generally southerly direction to the
    roundabout on State Highway No. 5 at Ngongotaha
    (Route Position 0/0.00 to Route Position RP41/6.55); a
    distance of 47.96 kilometres.

Conservation Act 1987

Revocation of a Notice Relating to Conservation
Areas and Issue of a Fresh Notice

Under the Conservation Act 1987, and by reason of an error
made in the notice described subsequently, the Conservator
for the Canterbury Conservancy of the Department of
Conservation and the Commissioner of Crown Lands, acting

under a delegation from the Minister for Land Information,
being the Minister responsible for the department of State
that has control of the land described in the Schedule, jointly
revoke the notice headed Declaring Land to be Held for
Conservation Purposes, published in the New Zealand
Gazette, 9 December 2004, page 3986, and issue the
following notice as a fresh notice in its place.

Declaring Land to be Held for Conservation Purposes

Under the Conservation Act 1987, the Conservator for the
Canterbury Conservancy of the Department of Conservation
