Civil Aviation Rule Part 71—Designation and Classification of Airspace

Pursuant to Civil Aviation Part 71.9 (d), the following amendments were designated with effect from 20 January 2005—

  • NZB 670 (Motueka mandatory broadcast zone) is established.

Pursuant to Civil Aviation Part 71.9 (d), the following amendments were designated with effect from 17 March 2005—

  • The following visual reporting points are disestablished:
    Goulter Hill, Burke Pass, Reservoir, Tasman.
  • The following new visual reporting points are established:
    Burkes Pass, Molesworth Station, Watertank.

Prescribed pursuant to Part 71 of the Civil Aviation Rules, under a delegated authority issued by the Director of Civil Aviation.

Electricity Act 1992

Notice of Making of Electricity Governance Amendment Rules (No. 17) 2005 and Notice of Reasons for Decision

  1. Pursuant to section 172I of the Electricity Act 1992, I notify the amendment of the Electricity Governance Rules 2003 ("the Rules") under section 172H of the Electricity Act 1992.

  2. The empowering provisions for the electricity governance regulations in relation to which the Rules are made are section 172D (1) (1) (b) of the Electricity Act 1992.

  3. A brief description of the nature of the amendments is as follows:

Amend the table of contents of Code of Practice D3, Schedule D1 of Part D by removing the references to Appendix 2 and Appendix 3 (minimum requirements for meter calibration and testing, and statistical sampling methodology), which do not exist and are not otherwise referenced.

  1. The amendments are made in reliance on section 172F (3) of the Electricity Act 1992.

  2. Pursuant to section 172Z (4) of the Electricity Act 1992, the reason for my decision to amend the Rules is that:

  • the amendments correct a typographical error in the Rules.
  1. These Rules come into force on 10 February 2005.

  2. Copies of the Rules may be inspected free of charge or purchased from the Electricity Commission, Level Seven, ASB Bank Tower, 2 Hunter Street, Wellington.
