Agricultural Compounds and Veterinary Medicines Act 1997

Notice of Application to Register a Trade Name Product (Notice No. 1400)

Pursuant to section 14 (1) of the Agricultural Compounds and Veterinary Medicines Act 1997, the Director-General of the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry hereby gives notice that the following application has been made to register a trade name product under section 9 (1) of the Agricultural Compounds and Veterinary Medicines Act 1997:

Trade Name: Cydectin LA Injection for Sheep
Reference: A9366
Active Ingredient and Concentration:
Moxidectin 20g/L
General Use Claim:
For the treatment and control of gastrointestinal nematodes, nasal bot and itchmite in sheep with long lasting protection against re-infection.

Any person may make a written submission to the Director-General, under section 17 of the Agricultural Compounds and Veterinary Medicines Act 1997, concerning any application notified above.

Such submissions:

(a) must state in full the reasons for making the submission;
(b) may state any decision sought on that application;
(c) must be received by the Director-General no later than 30 working days after the date of notification in the New Zealand Gazette; and
(d) should be forwarded to the address given below.

A copy of every submission will be forwarded to the applicant for their information.

A copy of the public information on the application may be obtained from ACVM Group, New Zealand Food Safety Authority, Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry, P.O. Box 2835, Wellington.

Marine Mammals Protection Regulations 1992

Amendment to Declaration Notice

Pursuant to Regulation 15 (3) of the Marine Mammals Protection Regulations 1992, I, Alastair Morrison, Acting Director-General of Conservation, amend the declaration notice dated the 8th day of September 2003 and published in the New Zealand Gazette, 25 September 2003, No. 136, page 3678, by declaring that, for the remaining term of the notice and in addition to the restrictions and prohibitions already imposed, no new permits shall be granted for the following commercial operations:

1. Viewing New Zealand fur seals within 300 metres of Tonga Island, Abel Tasman National Park.
2. Viewing New Zealand fur seals within 300 metres of Pinnacle Island, Abel Tasman National Park.

This declaration does not apply to any applications to renew existing commercial permits for the locations specified above.

Dumping and Countervailing Duties Act 1988

Final Determination of Dumping Investigation: Oil Filters From China, Indonesia, Korea and Thailand

Pursuant to section 13 of the Dumping and Countervailing Duties Act 1988 (hereinafter referred to as "the Act"), I hereby give notice that I have made a final determination that, in relation to the importation or intended importation of the goods specified in the First Schedule to this notice (the "subject goods"):

(a) the subject goods are being dumped; and
(b) by reason thereof material injury to the New Zealand industry has been caused.

Notice is hereby given that, acting pursuant to subsections 14 (1) and 14 (4) of the Act, I have determined the amount of anti-dumping duty to be imposed on the subject goods to be the amount set out in the Second Schedule to this notice and detailed in the Third Schedule to this notice.
