Nuhaka School (2624) Board of Trustees Parent Representative Election Invalidation Notice

Pursuant to clauses 9 (3) and 9 (3A) of the Sixth Schedule to the Education Act 1989, and acting with authority delegated by the Minister of Education, I hereby declare invalid the mid-term election for the parent representatives for the Nuhaka School Board of Trustees held on 4 November 2005, require a new election to be held on 17 March 2006, and declare that the trustees holding office on 4 November 2005 remain in office until the close of the day before the day when the new trustees take office.

This notice takes effect on the day of publication.

Education (Early Childhood Centres) Regulations 1998

Cancellation of Licence for an Early Childhood Centre

Pursuant to Regulation 12 (1) (d) (i) of the Education (Early Childhood Centres) Regulations 1998, and acting under authority delegated by the Secretary for Education, I hereby cancel the licence dated 2 July 2003, which was granted under those Regulations to Joy McIvor in respect of Taakaro Kidz at Play (70449), situated at 26 North Street, Timaru.

This notice shall take effect the day after the date of its notification in the New Zealand Gazette.

Cancellation of Licence for an Early Childhood Centre

Pursuant to Regulation 12 (1) (d) (i) of the Education (Early Childhood Centres) Regulations 1998, and acting under authority delegated by the Secretary for Education, I hereby cancel the licence dated 8 June 2005, which was granted under those Regulations to Dick Toopi (on behalf of the whanau) in respect of Te Taumata Te Kohānga Reo (52710) (07B026), situated at 11 Preston Street, Eltham.

The Resource Management (Far North Holdings Limited as Requiring Authority) Notice 2005

Pursuant to section 167 of the Resource Management Act 1991, the Minister for the Environment hereby gives the following notice.

Notice

1. Title and commencement—(1) This notice may be cited as the Resource Management (Approval of Far North Holdings Limited as Requiring Authority) Notice 2005.

(2) This notice shall come into force on the 28th day after its publication in the New Zealand Gazette.

2. Approval as a requiring authority—Far North Holdings Limited is hereby approved as a requiring authority, under section 167 of the Resource Management Act 1991, for the operation of Kaitaia Airport.

The Resource Management (Approval of Central Plains Water Limited as Requiring Authority) Notice 2005

Pursuant to section 167 of the Resource Management Act 1991, the Minister for the Environment hereby gives the following notice.

Notice

1. Title and commencement—(1) This notice may be cited as the Resource Management (Approval of Central Plains Water Limited as Requiring Authority) Notice 2005.

(2) This notice shall come into force on the 28th day after the date of its publication in the New Zealand Gazette.

2. Approval as requiring authority—Central Plains Water Limited is hereby approved as a requiring authority, under section 167 of the Resource Management Act 1991, in respect of the particular project or work described in clause 3, being the Central Plains Water Enhancement Scheme.

3. Central Plains Water Enhancement Scheme—

(1) The particular project or work for which this approval is granted is distribution including associated intake, conveyance, storage and discharge for distribution of water for the purposes of irrigation in the central plains area; and associated:

(a) construction and operation, repair, maintenance and upgrading of roads; and

(b) operation, erection, installation, replacement, alteration, improvement, removal and other use of land (within the meaning of section 9 (4) of the Resource Management Act 1991) in respect of the distribution of water for supply.

(2) The central plains area is the area between the Rakaia River to the south, State Highway No. 1 to the east, the Waimakariri River to the north and the Southern Alps to the west.
