Pursuant to section 20 of the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister for Land Information, Trevor Knowles, Land Information New Zealand, declares that, an agreement to that effect having been entered into, the land described in the Schedule to this notice is hereby acquired for road and vested in the Whangarei District Council on the date of publication of this notice in the New Zealand Gazette.

Land Acquired for Road, and Road Stopped and Declared Motorway—Patiki Road Interchange With North–Western Motorway (State Highway No. 16), Avondale, Auckland

Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister for Land Information, Trevor Knowles, Land Information New Zealand:

(a) Pursuant to sections 20 and 50, declares that, an agreement to that effect having been entered into, the land described in the First Schedule to this notice is hereby acquired for road and vests in the Auckland City Council on the date of publication of this notice in the New Zealand Gazette.

(b) Pursuant to sections 114, 116, and 117 (3)(a), declares the portion of road adjoining or passing through the land described in the Second Schedule to this notice to be stopped and set apart for the purposes of a motorway and vested in the Crown on the date of publication of this notice in the New Zealand Gazette, excepting as to the firstly described parcel that part of Patiki Road above reduced Lands and Survey Datum Auckland 1946, level of 7.33 metres, below reduced Lands and Survey Datum Auckland 1946, level of 8.86 metres and between reduced Lands and Survey Datum Auckland 1946, level of 5.86 metres to 7.33 metres and 8.86 metres to 10.33 metres as identified on SO 343004.

(c) Pursuant to sections 114, 116, and 117 (7), declares the portion of road adjoining or passing through the land described in the Third Schedule to this notice to be stopped and amalgamated with the motorway land in New Zealand Gazette, 13 June 1957, page 1145 (Order in Council 15592) and remain vested in the Crown.
