Pursuant to section 20 (1) of the Public Works Act 1981,
and to a delegation from the Minister for Land Information,
Trevor Knowles, Land Information New Zealand, declares
that, pursuant to an agreement to that effect having been
entered into, the land described in the Schedule to this
notice is hereby acquired for education purposes and vested
in the Crown on the date of publication of this notice in the
New Zealand Gazette.

Road Deviation, New Plymouth District

Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation
from the Minister for Land Information, Trevor Knowles,
Land Information New Zealand:

(a) Pursuant to section 114, declares the land described
in the First Schedule to this notice to be road which,
pursuant to section 88 (2) of the Transit New Zealand Act
1989, shall become road, limited access road and State
Highway No. 3 and shall vest in the Crown;

(b) Pursuant to sections 116 and 117, declares the
portion of road adjoining or passing through the land
described in the Second Schedule to this notice to be
stopped and, pursuant to section 118, shall remain vested in
the Crown in terms of the Conservation Act 1987
on the date of publication of this notice in the New Zealand
Gazette.
