A PROCLAMATION
I, The Honourable Dame Silvia Cartwright, Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby declare that, pursuant to the Electoral Act 1993, I have today signed the Writ authorising and requiring the Chief Electoral Officer to conduct a general election.
Given under the hand of Her Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, on 17 August 2005.
