Reserves Act 1977

Revocation of the Reservation Over Part of a Reserve

Under the Reserves Act 1977, the Community Relations Manager of the Nelson/Marlborough Conservancy of the Department of Conservation revokes the reservation as a local purpose (recreation) reserve over the land described in the Schedule and declares that the land may be disposed of by the Marlborough District Council at current market value, the proceeds of such sale to be paid into the council’s reserves account to be used and applied in or towards the improvement of other reserves under the control of the council, or in or towards the purchase of other lands for reserves.

Classifying Reserves in Dunedin City for Recreation Purposes

Pursuant to section 16 (1) of the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Conservation, the Dunedin City Council classifies the reserves described in the Schedule hereto for the purposes of recreation, subject to the provisions of the said Act.

Otago Land District—Dunedin City

0.7370 hectares, being Lot 101, DP 16776, Lots 102 and 103, DP 16775 and Lot 104, DP 16372 (all Computer Freehold Register 8514).

Pursuant to section 16 (1) of the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Conservation, the Dunedin City Council classifies the reserves described in the Schedule hereto for the purposes of scenic 19 (1) (a), subject to the provisions of the said Act.

Declaration That Land is Drainage Reserves

In exercise of the powers conferred on it by delegation, under the Reserves Act 1977, the Porirua City Council notifies the following resolution passed by council on 27 September 2004:

“That under section 14 of the Act, the Porirua City Council resolves that the land held in fee simple by the council and described in the Schedule be declared to be drainage reserves.”
