Notification of Maritime Rules
Comments are invited on the following proposed maritime rules developed under the Maritime Transport Act 1994:
Part 40G—Design, Construction and Equipment—Novel Ships
Maritime (Epirbs) Amendment Rules 2005—(Parts 40A, 40C, 40D and 43)
Comments should be made by 28 September 2005.

Conservation Act 1987
Appointment of an Advisory Committee
Under section 56 (1) of the Conservation Act 1987, the Minister of Conservation hereby appoints
Te Kaahui o Rauru
the Governance Entity for the purposes of the Ngaa Rauru Kiitahi Deed of Settlement dated 27 November 2003, to be an Advisory Committee in accordance with that deed of settlement, to provide advice on matters concerning the management and conservation by the Department of Conservation of riparian planting on marginal strips, freshwater fisheries, and indigenous flora and rongoaa on land administered by the department within the area covered by the protocol issued by the Crown through the Minister of Conservation regarding the department’s interaction with Ngaa Rauru Kiitahi on specified matters.

Under section 7 (1A) of the Conservation Act 1987, the Acting Community Relations Manager for the Otago Conservancy of the Department of Conservation declares that the land described in the Schedule is held for conservation purposes.

Harbour Boards Dry Land Endowment Revesting Act 1991
Notice of Approval for Land to be Sold, Otherwise Disposed Of or Modified, Pursuant to Section 5 of the Harbour Boards Dry Land Endowment Revesting Act 1991
Under the Harbour Boards Dry Land Endowment Revesting Act 1991, I, Chris Carter, Minister of Conservation, hereby approve the sale of the following parcel of land currently vested in the Grey District Council, being part of the land described in Part C of the Schedule to the Harbour Boards Dry Land Endowment Revesting Act 1991, under the description "Greymouth Harbour Lands" and being more particularly described in the following Schedule.
