Notice of Direction for Appointment of Limited Statutory Managers for the Board of Trustees of Cambridge High School (142)

Pursuant to section 78M of the Education Act 1989, I direct the Secretary for Education to appoint limited statutory managers for the Cambridge High School (142) Board of Trustees because of risks to the educational performance of the students and to the operation of the school.

The following functions, powers and duties of the board are to be vested in any limited statutory managers:

  • All functions, powers and duties of the board as an employer (whether statutory or otherwise);
  • all functions, powers and duties of the board to manage curriculum and assessment practice (whether statutory or otherwise);
  • all functions, powers and duties of the board to manage all communications with or contact with the media (whether statutory or otherwise); and
  • all functions, powers and duties of the board to manage communications and relationships within the school and between the school and its community (whether statutory or otherwise).
