Pursuant to section 21 of the Māori Affairs Restructuring Act 1989, the Chief Executive of the Ministry of Māori Development hereby gives notice as follows.

Notice

1. This notice may be cited as Māori Land Development Notice, Whangarei 2004, No. 3.

2. The notice referred to in the First Schedule hereto is, in relation to the pieces of land described in the Second Schedule hereto, hereby revoked.

3. The lands described in the Second Schedule hereto are hereby released from the provisions of Part II of the Māori Affairs Restructuring Act 1989.

"declares the leasehold interests created by"

and

"Memorandum of Variation of Lease"

the words

"Memorandum of Lease dated 20 December 1991 and varied by".

Pursuant to section 20 (1) of the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister for Land Information,

Sutherland, Land Information New Zealand, declares that, pursuant to an agreement to that effect having been entered into, the land described in the Schedule to this notice is acquired for road and vested in Hastings District Council on the date of publication of this notice in the New Zealand Gazette.
