Notice of Appointment of a Limited Statutory Manager for the Board of Trustees of Tauhoa School (1107)

Pursuant to section 78M of the Education Act 1989, I direct
the Secretary for Education to appoint a limited statutory
manager for the Tauhoa School (1107) Board of Trustees
because of risks to the educational performance of the
students at the school.

The following functions, powers and duties of the board are
vested in the limited statutory manager:

• Curriculum management; and
• employment powers of the board.

The limited statutory manager must also advise the board on
the following:

• Meeting its legal obligations particularly as identified in
  the 2004 Education Review Office report; and
• board planning and self review.

This notice takes effect the day after the date of publication.

Education (Early Childhood Centres) Regulations 1998

Cancellation of Licence for an Early Childhood Centre

Pursuant to Regulation 12 (1) (d) (iii) of the Education
(Early Childhood Centres) Regulations 1998, and acting
under authority delegated by the Secretary for Education,
I hereby cancel the licence dated 7 July 2003, which was
granted under those Regulations to Te Kohanga Reo o Nga
Ruahine Rangi (40250), situated at 2233 Eltham Road,
Awatuna, Kaponga.

This notice shall take effect the day after the date of its
notification in the New Zealand Gazette.

Private Schools Conditional Integration Act 1975

Supplementary Integration Agreement

Pursuant to section 10 of the Private Schools Conditional
Integration Act 1975, notice is given that a supplementary
integration agreement has been signed between the Minister
of Education on behalf of Her Majesty the Queen, acting
through the Senior Manager, National Operations, Ministry
of Education, pursuant to delegated authority, and the
proprietor of the following school:

St Leo’s School, Devonport.

The said supplementary integration agreement was executed
on 3 August 2004.

A copy of the supplementary integration agreement is
available for inspection without charge by any member of
the public at the local office of the Ministry of Education,
39-45 College Hill, Auckland.
