has received the consent of the Minister or the Director-General to its distribution as a pharmacy-only medicine
Medicines for General Sale
Please note that the following medicines are no longer
classified as prescription medicines, restricted medicines or
pharmacy-only medicines. As such, they are now available
for general sale.

Hydroquinone; for external use in hair preparations
containing 1% or less

Trichloroacetic acid; for external use in medicines
containing 12.5% or less for the treatment of warts other
than anogenital warts

Regulation 20 of the Medicines Regulations 1984 requires
that all medicines sold without a practitioner’s prescription
must include a consumer information panel on the
label. Further, all material changes to a medicine
(including changes to labelling) must be notified to the
Director-General of Health in accordance with section 24 of
the Medicines Act 1981.

Notice of Product Ruling
  1. This is a notice of a product ruling made under section
    91F of the Tax Administration Act 1994.

  2. Product ruling No. 04/06 was issued on 25 May 2004.
    It relates to the establishment and continued operation
    of a group investment fund and various sections of the
    Income Tax Act 1994. It will appear in Inland Revenue’s
    Tax Information Bulletin, Vol. 16, No. 6, of July 2004.

  3. From 26 July 2004, a copy of the ruling may be
    obtained by writing to the Manager, Field Liaison
    & Communication (Adjudication & Rulings), National
    Office, Inland Revenue, P.O. Box 2198, Wellington.

Between Bunker Inc. and Leslie Lawrence Hewett—Plaintiffs:
And—The ship Triton III—First Defendant:

AndBruce Christopher McDonald—Second Defendant:

  1. The ship Triton III has been sold and the gross proceeds
    of such sale, amounting to $146,750.00 (including
    G.S.T.), have been paid into the Court at Whangarei.

  2. The priority of the claims against the proceeds of sale
    will not be determined until after 31 August 2004.

  3. Any person having a claim against the ship or the
    proceeds of sale of the ship on which that person intends
    to proceed to judgment should commence an action to
    enforce that claim before the date specified in paragraph
    2 and, if necessary, apply to the Court to extend the
    period within which the order of priority of claims will
    not be determined.

  4. If the steps referred to in paragraph 3 are not taken, an
    order determining the priority of claims against the ship
    or the proceeds of sale of the ship may be made without
    notice to the person claiming against the ship or the
    proceeds of sale of the ship.

been pleased to appoint

Eric Bernard Anderson, retired District Court Judge

to be an Acting District Court Judge, to exercise civil
and criminal jurisdiction in New Zealand, at such place or
places and for such period or periods only as the Chief
District Court Judge may fix, pursuant to section 10A of
the District Courts Act 1947, for a term of one year on and
from 31 July 2004.

Acting District Court Judge Appointed

Pursuant to section 10A of the District Courts Act 1947,
and section 7 of the Family Courts Act 1980, Her Excellency
the Administrator of the Government has been pleased to
appoint

Peter John McAloon, retired District Court Judge

to be an Acting District Court Judge, to exercise civil and
criminal jurisdiction in New Zealand, at such place or places
and for such period or periods only as the Chief District
Court Judge may fix, pursuant to the said section 10A of
the District Courts Act 1947, and also to exercise the
jurisdiction of the Family Courts pursuant to section 7 of
the Family Courts Act 1980, for a term of two years on and
from 1 August 2004.
