NZ3 Software Standards

NZ3.1 Contents of Critical Memory (Ref NS 1.15.1)

The following sub-clause shall be added to this section:

"h) information pertaining to the last two tickets accepted (date ticket
was accepted, entire validation number, the value of the ticket)".

NZ3.2 Master Meters (Ref NS Table 3-1: Master Meters)

The following meters, definitions and units shall be added to this table:

"TICKETS IN total of all tickets accepted, if applicable [$.]
TICKETS OUT total of all tickets issued, if applicable [$.]"

The definition of the Money In meter, as shown in the table, shall be replaced
by the following definition:

"MONEY IN ‘total value in dollars of coin and/or banknotes and/or tickets
inserted to register credits on the player’s credit meter together with transfers
to the machine to register credits on the player’s credit meter’".

NZ3.3 Self Audit Check (Ref NS 1.16.17)

The calculation for credit balance shall be replaced by the following
calculation:

"Credit Balance = [(Coins IN + Banknotes IN + Cashless IN + Tickets IN +
Total WINS) – (Coins OUT + Cancel Credits + Cashless OUT + Turnover)]
%2^32".

NZ3.4 Residual Credit Removal Meters (Ref NS 1.16.22)

Residual credit removal meters are required where the residual credit
removal feature is offered.

NZ3.5 Credit Acceptance (Ref NS 1.19)

The following clauses shall be added to this section:

"Tickets In

Ticket Acceptance Conditions

1.19.12 Credit acceptance by printed ticket through a note acceptor is only
acceptable where the gaming machine communicates with a CMCS
or Cash Control System which provides validation of the printed
ticket.

1.19.13 To be accepted, each ticket must have a unique bar code or a
machine readable code representing the validation number."
