Reserve Bank of New Zealand Act 1989

Application Fees for Bank Registration

Pursuant to section 70 (2) (b) of the Reserve Bank of
New Zealand Act 1989, I hereby approve the following
fee structure as determined by the Reserve Bank of
New Zealand as the fees which shall accompany an
application requesting registration as a registered bank:

(a) The fee for an application to establish a registered
bank that will be either a subsidiary or a branch of
an overseas bank or a subsidiary of a New Zealand
registered bank is $21,000.00 (G.S.T. inclusive).

(b) The fee for all other applications to establish a
registered bank is $36,000.00 (G.S.T. inclusive).

Application Fee for Designation of Payment System

Pursuant to section 156v (2) (b) of the Reserve Bank of
New Zealand Act 1989, I hereby approve a fee of $15,000.00
(G.S.T. inclusive) as determined by the Reserve Bank of
New Zealand as the fee which shall accompany any
application requesting that a payment system be declared
a designated payment system.

Transit New Zealand

Transit New Zealand Act 1989

Transit New Zealand (Maximum Speeds on State
Highways) Amendment Bylaw 2004/2

Pursuant to section 61 (3) of the Transit New Zealand Act
1989 and clause 2.6 of the Land Transport Rule: Setting of
Speed Limits 2003 (Rule 54001), Transit New Zealand
hereby makes the following bylaw.

Bylaw

  1. Title and commencementβ€”This bylaw may be cited
    as the Transit New Zealand (Maximum Speeds on State
    Highways) Amendment Bylaw 2004/2 and comes into force
    on the date of its publication in the New Zealand Gazette.

  2. Commencement deferredβ€”Clause 1 of the Transit
    New Zealand (Maximum Speeds of Vehicles on State
    Highways) Bylaw 2004/1* is hereby amended by omitting
    the words

"28 days after the date of its publication in the
New Zealand Gazette"

and substituting the words

"on 1 November 2004".

This bylaw was made by resolution passed in accordance
with clause 73, Fourth Schedule, Land Transport
Management Act 2003 on 16 June 2004.

Revoking Sections of State Highway and Declaring
New Sections of State Highway

Pursuant to section 60 of the Transit New Zealand Act 1989,
the Transit New Zealand Board gives notice that, with effect
from 12.00 midnight on 30 June 2004, the sections of State
highway described in the First Schedule hereto are to be
revoked and the sections of road described in the Second
Schedule hereto are to be declared State Highway within the
meaning and for the purpose of the Transit New Zealand
Act 1989.
