(4) In this regulation, UN Model Regulations means the 13th
revised edition of the Recommendation on the Transport of
Dangerous Goods Model Regulations, published in 2003 by the
United Nations.

Changes to Controls
Regulation 5
This regulation applies to each hazardous substance described in
Schedule 1 (pesticides) with variation code 1 as if subclause (1) were
omitted and the following substituted:
(1) A person in charge of a hazardous substance to which this
regulation applies must ensure that a written record is kept of
each application or discharge of the substance if more than the
quantity specified in subclause (1A) is applied or discharged
within 24 hours in a place where—
(a) members of the public may lawfully be present; or
(b) the substance is likely to enter air or water and leave the
place.
(1A) The quantities are—
(a) if the substance is a liquid, 200 ml:
(b) if the substance is a solid, 200 g:
(c) if the substance is an aerosol, 1 litre.
Regulation 9
The regulations apply to each hazardous substance described in
Schedule 1 (pesticides) with variation code 2 as if regulation 9 were
omitted.
Regulation 9
This regulation applies to the following hazardous substance as if
subclause 1(a) and subclause (2) were omitted:
Vapour releasing product containing 850 g/litre formic acid
Regulation 9
This regulation applies to each hazardous substance described in
Schedule 1 (pesticides) with variation code 3 as if subclause (1) were
omitted and the following substituted:
(1) A hazardous substance to which this regulation applies must be
under the personal control of an approved handler when the
substance is—
(a) used by a commercial contractor; or
