Notice of Vacancy in Seat in House of Representatives for Te Tai Hauauru Electoral District

Pursuant to section 129 (1) of the Electoral Act 1993,
I, Jonathan Lucas Hunt, Speaker of the House of Representatives, give notice that Tariana Turia has resigned her seat in the House of Representatives for Te Tai Hauauru Electoral District with effect on Monday, 17 May 2004, and that the seat is vacant by reason of that resignation.
