Revocation of the Reservation Over a Reserve, Specifying the Manner of Disposal and How to Utilise Proceeds of Sale

Under the Reserves Act 1977, the Community Relations Manager for the Wellington Conservancy of the Department of Conservation revokes the reservation as esplanade reserves over the land described in the Schedule and declares that the land may be disposed of by the Porirua City Council at current market value, the proceeds of such sale to be paid into the council’s reserves account, to be used and applied in or towards the improvement of other reserves under the control of the council, or in or towards the purchase of other land for reserves, subject to the purchasers entering into agreements with the Porirua City Council to create esplanade strips under section 235 of the Resource Management Act 1991.

Appointment of the Mistletoe Bay Trust Incorporated to Control and Manage Part of a Recreation Reserve

Under the Reserves Act 1977, the Conservator for the Nelson/Marlborough Conservancy of the Department of Conservation appoints the Mistletoe Bay Trust Incorporated to control and manage part of a reserve for recreation purposes as described in the Schedule, subject to the said Act and an agreement dated 1 May 2004.

This appointment is for a 10-year period commencing from the publication date of this notice.

Classification of a Reserve and Vesting in Environment Canterbury

Under the Reserves Act 1977, the Community Relations Manager of the Canterbury Conservancy of the Department of Conservation classifies the reserve described in the Schedule as a local purpose (soil conservation and river protection) reserve, subject to the provisions of the said Act, and further vests the reserve in Environment Canterbury in trust for soil conservation and river protection purposes.
