Civil Aviation Rules—Summary of Exemptions Granted by the Director of Civil Aviation
In accordance with section 37 (3) of the Civil Aviation Act 1990, notification is hereby given that the Director of Civil Aviation has granted the following exemptions from the Civil Aviation Rule requirements:
Schedule
3/EXE/49:
- 91.111(2) – documents to be carried.
4/EXE/47:
- 91.619 (a) – requirement for annual review of airworthiness.
4/EXE/49:
- 121.303 (b) – goods, passenger and baggage weights.
Two exemptions from:
- 121.71 (f) (1) and 139.305 (5) – use of aerodromes – Reference: 4/EXE/37 and 4/EXE/55.
Two exemptions from:
- 61.105 (2) – requirement to hold a current medical certificate issued under the Act – Reference: 4/EXE/48 and 4/EXE/57.
Five exemptions from:
- 61.35 (a) (1) – requirement to hold a current medical certificate issued under the Act – Reference: 4/EXE/50, 4/EXE/51, 4/EXE/58, 4/EXE/59 and 4/EXE/60.
Five exemptions from:
- 61.153 (a) (2) – requirement to hold a current medical certificate issued under the Act – Reference: 4/EXE/52, 4/EXE/53, 4/EXE/60, 4/EXE/62 and 4/EXE/63.
Notice of the grant, withdrawal or denial of exemptions with provisos is published in the Civil Aviation Rules Register Information Leaflet (CARRIL).
For the provisos, refer to CARRIL dated 6 May 2004.
