Reserves Act 1977
Declaration that Land is a Reserve
Pursuant to section 14 of the Reserves Act 1977, the Auckland Regional Council, at its meeting held on 30 August 2001, resolved to vest the land held by the council in fee simple described in the Schedule to be a scenic reserve in accordance with section 19 (1) (a) of the Act.

Classification and Naming of a Reserve
Under Reserves Act 1977, the Community Relations Manager for the West Coast Conservancy of the Department of Conservation classifies the reserve described in the Schedule as a scenic reserve for the purposes specified in section 19 (1) (a) and, further, declares that the scenic reserve be known as the Orowaiti Estuary Scenic Reserve.

Corrigendum—Setting Apart Māori Land as a Māori Reservation
Pursuant to section 338 (1) of Te Ture Whenua Māori Act 1993, on the recommendation of the Māori Land Court, the persons for whose use and benefit the land described in the Schedule hereto has been set apart, published in the New Zealand Gazette, 29 January 2004, No. 9, page 180, is incorrectly shown and is hereby corrected as being for the common use and benefit of the descendants of Wiremu Te Awe Awe and Manawaroa Te Awe Awe.
