Civil Aviation Rules—Summary of Exemptions Granted by the Director of Civil Aviation

In accordance with section 37 (3) of the Civil Aviation Act 1990, notification is hereby given that the Director of Civil Aviation has granted the following exemptions from the Civil Aviation Rule requirements:

Schedule

4/EXE/35:

121.571 (b) (1) – line-operating flight time required for consolidation.

4/EXE/40:

61.35 (a) (1) – requirement to hold a current medical certificate issued under the Act.

4/EXE/47:

91.619 (a) – requirement for annual review of airworthiness.

Notice of the grant, withdrawal or denial of exemptions with provisos is published in the Civil Aviation Rules Register Information Leaflet (CARRIL).

For the provisos, refer to CARRIL dated 1 April 2004.

Transit New Zealand Act 1989
Transport Act 1962

Amendment to Transit New Zealand Bylaw 2002/13: Bylaw Regulating the Speed of Vehicles on State Highways in Transit New Zealand, Regions 9 and 10

Pursuant to section 61 (3) of the Transit New Zealand Act 1989 and section 72 (1) (j) of the Transport Act 1962, Transit New Zealand hereby amends the above bylaw as follows.

Amendment

1. This amendment shall come into force 28 days after its publication in the New Zealand Gazette.

2. In the Schedule after clause 7, insert:

   8. That section of State Highway No. 1 that is:

   (a) At Te Horo, from a point (Route Position 915/10.3) 150 metres north of Te Horo Beach Road and proceeding in a generally southerly direction to a point (Route Position 915/11.3) 450 metres south of School Road; a distance of 1 kilometre.

This amendment is made by delegated authority from the Transit New Zealand Board.

Declaring Land to be Held for Conservation Purposes

Under the Conservation Act 1987, the Community Relations Manager, West Coast Conservancy of the Department of Conservation, hereby declares that the land described in the Schedule below is held for conservation purposes and it shall thereafter be so held.

Public Works Act 1981

Road Realignment—Intersection Fairview Avenue and Lonely Track Road, North Shore City

Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister for Land Information, R. J. Sutherland, Land Information New Zealand:

(a) Pursuant to section 20, declares that, an agreement to that effect having been entered into, the land described in the First Schedule to this notice is hereby acquired for road and shall vest in the North Shore City Council on the date of publication hereof in the New Zealand Gazette.

(b) Pursuant to sections 116 and 117, declares the portion of road described in the Second Schedule to this notice to be stopped and shall be amalgamated with the land in Computer Register NA924/30, subject to memorandum of mortgage 5785401.3.
