The duty payable by other exporters through the application of the specified ad valorem percentage rate cannot exceed the duty payable through the application of this Normal Value (Value for Duty Equivalent) amount. The New Zealand Customs Service holds this confidential Normal Value (Value for Duty Equivalent) amount.

Trans-Tasman Mutual Recognition Act 1997

Notice of Intention to Make a Recommendation
Under Section 82 (2) of the Trans-Tasman Mutual Recognition Act 1997

Pursuant to section 75 of the Trans-Tasman Mutual Recognition Act 1997 (“the Act”), I give notice of my intention to make a recommendation to the Governor-General, under section 82 (2), to make Regulations extending the exemption period referred to in section 82 (1) of the Act for a period of 12 months from 1 May 2004 in relation to the laws, and the provisions of the laws, specified or described in Schedule 3 of the Act.

The making of such a recommendation is subject to my being satisfied, as required by section 82 (2) of the Act, that no fewer than two-thirds of the participating jurisdictions have endorsed the terms of the proposed Regulations.

Pursuant to section 95 of the Education Act 1989, I publish the following notice.

Notice

  1. This notice may be cited as the Kingslea School Board of Trustees Notice 2004. This notice shall take effect on the day after its publication in the New Zealand Gazette.

  2. The Kingslea School Board of Trustees shall be constituted as follows:

  • Up to three members appointed by the Department of Child, Youth and Family Services;
  • up to two members appointed by the Minister of Education;
  • the head teacher/principal of the school;
  • one staff member elected by and from the staff of the school; and
  • up to two members may be co-opted by the board taking into account the competencies and skills necessary for an effective board.
  1. The Kingslea School Board of Trustees Notice 2001 published in the New Zealand Gazette, 15 March 2001, page 620, is hereby revoked.

The notice of appointment of a limited statutory manager at Russell School (2983) (as published in the New Zealand Gazette, 10 April 2003, page 948) is hereby revoked under section 78M (7) of the Education Act 1989.

This action is a consequence of the Secretary for Education’s decision to dissolve the Russell School Board of Trustees and appoint a commissioner for the school, pursuant to section 78N (3) of the Education Act 1989.
