Food Standards Australia New Zealand—Variations to the Australia New Zealand Food Standards Code
(Amendment No. 75)

  1. Preamble
    The variations set forth in the Schedule below are variations to the Australia New Zealand Food Standards Code (hereinafter
    called ‘the Code’) which was published by the National Health and Medical Research Council in the Commonwealth of
    Australia Gazette, No. P 27, on 27 August 1987, and which has been varied from time to time.
    These variations are published pursuant to section 23A of the Food Standards Australia New Zealand Act 1991.

  2. Citation
    These variations may be collectively known as Amendment No. 75 to the Code.

  3. Commencement
    These variations commence on the date of gazettal.

SCHEDULE

[1] Standard 1.3.3 is varied by inserting in the Table to clause 17 –

Phospholipase A2

[2] Standard 1.5.1 is varied by inserting in the Table to clause 2 –

α-cyclodextrin

The name ‘alpha cyclodextrin’ or ‘α-cyclodextrin’ must be
used when declaring the ingredient in the ingredient list,
as prescribed in Standard 1.2.4.

Health Practitioners Competence Assurance Act 2003

Midwifery (Fees) Notice 2004 No. 4

Pursuant to Part 6, section 130 (1) of the Health Practitioners Competence Assurance Act 2003, the following notice is given.
This notice amends and adds to fee categories to be charged by the Midwifery Council under the Act, from the commencement
of Part 6, section 130 (1) of the Act on 18 September 2004.

Notice

  1. Title and commencement—(1) This notice may be cited as the Midwifery (Fees) Notice 2004 No. 4.
    (2) This notice comes into force on 18 September 2004.

  2. Fees—The Midwifery Council amends and adds to the Midwifery (Fees) Notices 2004*, the following fees, payable to the
    council, specified in the attached Schedule.

  3. Tax—The fees are inclusive of goods and services tax.

  1. The fees published in Category 9 in the Midwifery Fees Notice 2004* are hereby repealed.

  2. The following fees are in addition to those published in the Midwifery (Fees) Notice 2004*:

(a) Processing and monitoring fee for application for practising certificate by a registered midwife where
the applicant has not held a midwifery practising certificate within the three years immediately
preceding the date of application or has not lawfully practised midwifery within the three years
immediately preceding the date of application

(b) Communication fee for registered midwives not holding a current practising certificate to be sent all
communications sent from the Midwifery Council to registered midwives holding a current practising
certificate (fee payable per annum)
50.00
