Pursuant to section 164 of the Animal Products Act 1999, notice is given of the issue on 13 December 2004 of the Animal Products (Specifications for Products Intended for Human Consumption) Amendment Notice (No. 2) 2004, which will take effect on 20 December 2004.

Issue of Animal Welfare (Circuses) Code of Welfare 2004 Notice No. 1386

I hereby give notice that, under section 75 of the Animal Welfare Act 1999, the Animal Welfare (Circuses) Code of Welfare 2004 is issued and comes into force on 1 January 2005.

Amendment of Notice of Direction for Appointment of a Limited Statutory Manager for the Board of Trustees of Mangakino Area School (329)

Pursuant to section 78M of the Education Act 1989, I hereby amend the notice published in the New Zealand Gazette, 28 August 2003, page 3197, regarding the direction to appoint a limited statutory manager for the Mangakino Area School Board of Trustees.

The following functions, powers and duties of the board are to be vested in the limited statutory manager:

• Ensuring the implementation of the October 2004 Education Review Office report recommendations;
• employment powers of the board; and
• board organisation and management.

This notice takes effect the day after the date of publication.
