Notice of Product Ruling

1. This is a notice of a product ruling made under section 91F of the Tax Administration Act 1994.

2. Product ruling No. 04/14 was issued on 30 November 2004. It relates to payments made to participants in a course and section CB 9 (d) of the Income Tax Act 1994. It will appear in Inland Revenue’s Tax Information Bulletin, Vol. 16, No. 11, of December 2004.

Sentencing Act 2002

Order for Confiscation of Motor Vehicle

Pursuant to section 128 or 129 of the Sentencing Act 2002, on 2 December 2004 at the Tauranga District Court, James Aaron Garbutt was convicted of the following offence – driving with excess blood alcohol level – and in addition to the sentence imposed on him, the Court has ordered that a

1981 Ford Laser motor vehicle, Registration No. NR5758

owned by the above-mentioned defendant, be forfeited to Her Majesty, pursuant to section 136 of the Sentencing Act 2002.
