Pursuant to section 92 of the Mental Health (Compulsory Assessment and Treatment) Act 1992, I, Karen Olive Poutasi, Director-General of Health, give the following notice.

Notice

This notice shall be read together with the Mental Health (Compulsory Assessment and Treatment) Act Notice 2000—
Appointment of Directors of Area Mental Health Services (“the principal notice”)*.
The Schedule to the principal notice is amended in respect of “Area 3—Bay of Plenty” by omitting the name and title
Brian Pickering, registered nurse, of Rotorua
and substituting the name and title
Shailesh Kumar, medical practitioner, of Rotorua.

Appointments/reappointments to District Health Boards

Member Appointments/reappointments

Pursuant to section 29 (1) (b) of, and clause 2 of Schedule 3 to, the New Zealand Public Health and Disability Act 2000 (“the NZPHD Act”), I appoint as members of the board of the district health boards (“DHBs”) listed in Column 2 of the table below, the persons named in Column 1 of that table whose name appears alongside the name of the DHB.

The appointment of those persons as members takes effect on the date that appears in the relevant row of Column 3 of the table below, alongside the name of the DHB to which those persons have been appointed. The appointments end on the date that appears in the relevant row of column 4 of the table below, alongside the commencement date.
