Forest Industry Training and Education Council of

New Zealand Incorporated

The Board of the Tertiary Education Commission
Te Amorangi Mātauranga Matua approved, pursuant to
section 5 of the Industry Training Act 1992, full recognition
for the Forest Industry Training and Education Council of
New Zealand Incorporated to set standards at Levels 1 to 10
on the National Qualifications Framework for the forestry
and credit management and control industries, and the
biosecurity (border quarantine) industry covering Ministry
of Agriculture and Forestry Service staff engaged in
border quarantine activities including international cargo
clearances, international vessel clearances, international
aircraft clearances and international mail clearances, with
effect from 17 December 2003.
