Pursuant to section 13 of the Citizens Initiated Referenda Act 1993, I hereby give notice that NZFlag.com Trust:

– has been approved to use, for the purposes of an indicative referendum petition, the wording determined in the paragraph below;

– is the promoter of an indicative referendum petition in which the wording determined in the paragraph below is to be used;

– has been approved to use a form for the purposes of the indicative referendum petition; and

that the wording of the specific question to be put to voters in the proposed indicative referendum is:

“Should the design of the New Zealand flag be changed?”

Pursuant to section 14 (1) of the Agricultural Compounds and Veterinary Medicines Act 1997, the Director-General of the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry hereby gives notice that the following application has been made to register a trade name product under section 9 (1) of the Agricultural Compounds and Veterinary Medicines Act 1997:

Active Ingredients:
A blend of oils and herbal extracts.

General Use Claim:
To remove honey bees from beehives.

Any person may make a written submission to the Director-General, under section 17 of the Agricultural Compounds and Veterinary Medicines Act 1997, concerning any application notified above.

Such submissions:

(a) must state in full the reasons for making the submission;

(b) may state any decision sought on that application;

(c) must be received by the Director-General no later than 30 working days after the date of notification in the New Zealand Gazette; and

(d) should be forwarded to the address given below.\n
A copy of every submission will be forwarded to the applicant for their information.

A copy of the public information on the application may be obtained from ACVM Group, New Zealand Food Safety Authority, P.O. Box 2835, Wellington.

Ruapehu College (183), Ohakune, Board of Trustees Election Invalidation Notice

Pursuant to clauses 9 (3) and 9 (3A) of the Sixth Schedule to the Education Act 1989, and acting with authority delegated by the Minister of Education, I hereby declare invalid the election for the student representative for the board of trustees of Ruapehu College held on 10 September 2004, require a new election to be held on 12 November 2004 and declare that the trustee holding office on 10 September 2004 remain in office until the close of the day before the day when the new trustee takes office.

This notice takes effect the day after its notification.
