Veterinarians (Elections) Regulations 1995

Result of Election of Members to the Veterinary Council of New Zealand

Pursuant to the Veterinarians (Elections) Regulations 1995, I, Philip N. Ross, J.P., the Returning Officer for the purpose of these Regulations hereby give the following notice with respect to the election of persons to the Veterinary Council of New Zealand.

On 1 October 2004, which was the closing date for nominations to be received, three nominations had been received for the three elected positions.

Section 9 of the Veterinarians (Elections) Regulations 1995 states that where the number of candidates nominated for election equals the number of vacancies in the office of member, the Returning Officer shall declare the candidates so nominated to be duly elected.

I therefore declare the following candidates to be elected to the Veterinary Council for three years, the commencement of their term of office being 1 January 2005:

Julie Catherine Wagner;
Ronald George Gibson; and
Grahame Frederick Joyce.

The Property in Receivership is: All of the company’s undertaking, property and assets.
