Conservation Act 1987

Revocation of a Notice Relating to Conservation Areas and Issue of a Fresh Notice

Under the Conservation Act 1987, and by reason of an error made in the notice described subsequently, the Community Relations Manager, Canterbury Conservancy of the Department of Conservation, revokes the notice headed Declaring Land to be Held for Conservation Purposes, dated the 9th day of August 2004 and published in the New Zealand Gazette, 26 August 2004, page 2576, and issues the following notice as a fresh notice in its place.

Declaring Land to be Held for Conservation Purposes

Under the Conservation Act 1987, the Community Relations Manager, Canterbury Conservancy of the Department of Conservation, declares that the land described in the Schedule is held for conservation purposes.

National Parks Act 1980

Adding Land to Tongariro National Park

HER EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL

Pursuant to section 7 of the National Parks Act 1980, Her Excellency the Governor-General, acting on the advice and with the consent of the Executive Council, hereby declares that the land described in the Schedule hereto shall, as from the 28th day after the publication of this Order in Council in the New Zealand Gazette, be national park subject to the National Parks Act 1980, and shall be added to and form part of Tongariro National Park.

Public Works Act 1981

Land Acquired for Road—Port Road, Whangarei

Pursuant to section 20 (1) of the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister for Land Information, Stephen Robert Gilbert, Land Information New Zealand, declares that, an agreement to that effect having been entered into, the land described in the Schedule to this notice is hereby acquired for road and vested in the Whangarei District Council on the date of publication hereof in the New Zealand Gazette.

Land Declared Road—St Lukes, Sandringham, Balmoral Roads, Balmoral and Mt Albert, Auckland City

Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister for Land Information, Stephen Robert Gilbert, Land Information New Zealand:

(a) Pursuant to section 20, declares that, an agreement to that effect having been entered into, the land described in the First Schedule to this notice is hereby acquired for road and shall vest in the Auckland City Council on the date of publication of this notice in the New Zealand Gazette.

(b) Pursuant to section 114, declares the land described in the Second Schedule to this notice to be road and remain vested in the Auckland City Council.
