Industry Training Act 1992
REINZ Industry Training Organisation Limited
Pursuant to section 5 of the Industry Training Act 1992, full recognition has been granted to REINZ Industry Training Organisation Limited to set standards at Levels 1 to 8 on the National Qualifications Framework for the real estate industry for a further period of five years with effect from 24 June 2004.

Electricity Act 1992
Notice of Making of Electricity Governance Amendment Rules (No. 8) 2004
Pursuant to section 172I of the Electricity Act 1992, I notify the amendment of the Electricity Governance Rules 2003 (“the Rules”).
The empowering provisions for the electricity governance regulations in relation to which the Rules are amended are sections 172D (2) (a) and (b) of the Electricity Act 1992.
A brief description of the nature of the amendment follows:
The amendment consists of removing the requirement for the system operator to provide constraint information to the reconciliation manager, and replace it with the requirement for the system operator to provide disconnected node information to the reconciliation manager.
These rules come into force on 14 October 2004.
Copies of the Rules, including this amendment, may be inspected free of charge or purchased from the Electricity Governance Board (also known as the Electricity Commission), Level Seven, ASB Tower, 2 Hunter Street, Wellington.

Electricity Governance Regulations 2003
Notice of the Grant of an Exemption No. 26
This notice of the grant of an exemption is issued by the Electricity Commission (“Commission”), formally constituted as the Electricity Governance Board under the Electricity Act 1992, pursuant to Regulation 194 of the Electricity Governance Regulations 2003 (“Regulations”) in favour of Transpower New Zealand Limited (“Transpower”), Contact Energy Limited (“Contact”), Meridian Energy Limited (“Meridian”), Genesis Power Limited (“Genesis”) and Alinta ENZ Limited (“Alinta”).
This exemption is being granted under urgency in reliance on Regulation 194 (4).
Notice of the Grant of an Exemption (“notice”)
Regulation 194 (2) requires that the exemption and the Commission’s reasons for granting it are notified in the New Zealand Gazette as soon as practicable after being granted.
Subject to the terms and conditions imposed upon Transpower, Contact, Meridian, Genesis and Alinta in respect of any exemption contained within this notice, the Commission hereby notifies it grants an exemption to Transpower, Contact, Meridian, Genesis and Alinta from the requirement to comply with the following Electricity Governance Rules (“Rules”):
- Rule 11.5.2 of section IV of part C (event costs allocated to event causers).
Terms and Conditions of the Grant of the Exemption
Pursuant to Regulation 194 (1), the Commission may, in its discretion and upon the terms and conditions (if any) that it thinks fit, exempt any participant, or class of participants, from compliance with all or any of the Rules.
