Notice of Claim

This notice is pursuant to section 101 (2) of the Public Trust
Act 2001.

To all creditors and claimants of OBT Limited (a company
that was deregistered in July 2003):

The sum of $8,327.00 has been paid to Public Trust to hold
in the name of the deregistered company.

A claim has been lodged by David Wright, a former sole
shareholder of the company.

Public Trust proposes paying the amount of the claim, less
associated costs, to David Wright, subject to no notice of
a justifiable claim being received on or prior to 14 October
2004.

Any persons having any interest in priority to the claimant
must submit a claim to the National Manager, Public
Trust Central Service Centre, P.O. Box 31-543, Lower Hutt

Notice of Revocation and Replacement of the Government Priorities Under Section 7 (1) of the Foundation for Research, Science and Technology Act 1990 (“the Act”)

Under section 7 (1) of the Act, the Foundation for Research, Science and Technology (“the foundation”) is hereby advised of
an amendment to the Government’s priorities that the foundation must adhere to in carrying out its functions under section
5 (1) (a) of the Act.

This notice revokes and replaces all previous notices issued under section 7 (1) of the Foundation for Research, Science and
Technology Act 1990, published in the New Zealand Gazette.

General

This statement sets out the Government’s particular policies and priorities that will inform the foundation’s research
investment decisions for 2004/05. The foundation should also refer to the 2004/05 Estimates of Appropriation and the 2004/05
Letter of Expectations, Operating Principles and Vote Statement “Transforming New Zealand”, issued by the Minister of
Research, Science and Technology, June 2004.
