Classification of Sports Parks—Hamilton City

Pursuant to the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Conservation, the Hamilton City Council hereby
classifies the reserve described in the Schedule hereto as recreation reserve, subject to the provisions of the said Act.

Declaring That Land is Reserve—Beetham Park, Hamilton City

Pursuant to the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Conservation, the Hamilton City Council hereby gives notice that the following resolution was passed by the Hamilton City Council on 10 December 2003.

“That, in exercise of the powers conferred on it by section 14 of the Reserves Act 1977, the Hamilton City Council hereby resolves that the parcel of land held by the Hamilton City Council in fee simple and described in the Schedule hereto, shall be, and the same is hereby declared to be, a recreation reserve within the meaning of the said Act.”

Cancellation of the Vesting in the Gore District Council of a Reserve

Under the Reserves Act 1977, the Community Relations Manager for the Southland Conservancy of the Department of Conservation cancels the vesting in the Gore District Council of the local purpose (gravel) reserve described in the Schedule.

Classification of a Reserve, and Appointment of the Franklin District Council to Control and Manage a Reserve

Under the Reserves Act 1977, the Community Relations Manager for the Auckland Conservancy of the Department of Conservation classifies the reserve described in the Schedule as a local purpose (cemetery) reserve and, further, appoints the Franklin District Council to control and manage the reserve as a local purpose (cemetery) reserve.

Revocation of the Reservation Over a Reserve

Under the Reserves Act 1977, the Community Relations Manager for the Southland Conservancy of the Department of Conservation revokes the reservation as a local purpose (soil conservation and river control) reserve over the land described in the Schedule with the effect that the land is now Crown land available for disposal under the Land Act 1948.
