Fisheries (Coromandel Scallop Total Allowable Catch) Notice 2004 (No. F291)
Pursuant to section 13 of the Fisheries Act 1996, the
Minister of Fisheries, after having regard to the matters
specified in that section, makes the following notice.
Notice
- Title and commencement—(1) This notice may be
cited as the Fisheries (Coromandel Scallop Total Allowable
Catch) Notice 2004.
(2) This notice shall come into effect the day after the date
of its notification in the New Zealand Gazette.

Coromandel Scallop Fishery defined—The Coromandel
Scallop Fishery quota management area is the area as
defined in the Fisheries (Declaration of New Stock Subject
to Quota Management System) Notice 2001. -
Total allowable catch for the Coromandel Scallop
Fishery increased for 2004-05 fishing year in accordance
with section 13 (7) of the Fisheries Act 1996—The total
allowable catch for the Coromandel Scallop Fishery for the
2004-05 fishing year is increased to 120,000 tonnes
meatweight. -
Total allowable catch for the Coromandel Scallop
Fishery reverts to the total allowable catch that applied
at the beginning of the 2004-05 fishing year in
accordance with section 13 (8) of the Fisheries Act
1996—From 1 April 2005, the total allowable catch for the
Coromandel Scallop Fishery reverts back to 48,000 tonnes
meatweight.

Burial and Cremation Act 1964
Closure of the Otaria (Otaraia) Cemetery, Waikaka
I, Graeme Gillespie, acting under delegated authority, make
the following directions under the Burial and Cremation Act
1964 (“the Act”):

Under section 41 (1) of the Act, the cemetery known as
the Otaria (Otaraia) Cemetery, Waikaka, being the land
described in the Schedule to this notice (“the cemetery”),
shall be closed, subject to the conditions set out in
paragraph two below, and burials there shall be
discontinued from and including 28 February 2005. -
This closing order shall be subject to the following
qualification:
Under the proviso to section 43 (1) of the Act, the
control and management of the closed cemetery shall
be vested in the Gore District Council.
Schedule
1366 square metres, more or less, being Section 15A, Block
X, Waikaka Survey District.

Intellectual Disability (Compulsory Care and Rehabilitation) Act 2003
Appointment of Compulsory Care Co-ordinators
Under section 140 of the Intellectual Disability (Compulsory
Care and Rehabilitation) Act 2003, I appoint the following
persons as compulsory care co-ordinators for the named
geographical and operational areas listed below.
Northern region including Auckland and Northland:

Midland region including Waikato, Bay of Plenty, Taranaki
and Tairawhiti:

Central region including Manawatu-Wanganui, Palmerston

Southern region, being the whole of the South Island:

The appointments of the above-named persons take effect
on the date this notice is published in the New Zealand
Gazette and end on 31 August 2009.

Notice That Game Rules for Class 4 Gambling Have Been Made
Pursuant to section 367 of the Gambling Act 2003,
I, Catherine Jane Reid, Manager of Gaming Operational
Policy, Department of Internal Affairs, give notice that
I have made the Gambling Act (Class 4) Game Rules 2004
acting under authority delegated to me by the Secretary for
Internal Affairs.
The Gambling Act (Class 4) Game Rules 2004 take effect
on 1 September 2004.
