Pursuant to section 154 of the Education Act 1989, I hereby declare that Patea School (2425) will close on 28 January 2005, and will cease to be established on that day.

Pursuant to section 153 (1) (b) of the Education Act 1989, I hereby declare that Patea High School (185) will become a Year 1–13 composite school on 28 January 2005, and will cease to be a Year 7–13 secondary school on that day.

signed on 21 July 1981, between the Minister of Education on behalf of Her Majesty the Queen, and the Catholic Archbishop of the Archdiocese of Wellington is cancelled as from 28 January 2005.

Fisheries Act 1996

Fisheries (Remaining Cost Recovery Settlement Balance) Notice 2004 (No. F292)

Pursuant to section 265A (5) of the Fisheries Act 1996, the Minister of Fisheries gives the following notice.

Notice

  1. Title—This notice is the Fisheries (Remaining Cost Recovery Settlement Balance) Notice 2004.

  2. Commencement—This notice comes into force on the day after the date of its notification in the New Zealand Gazette.

  3. Interpretation—In this notice, unless the context otherwise requires, remaining balance, in relation to a stock or grouping and the cost recovery settlement sum allocated to the stock or grouping under Schedule 9A of the Fisheries Act 1996, has the meaning given it by section 265A (6) of that Act.

  4. Remaining balance—The remaining balance for each affected stock or grouping as at the date of commencement of this notice is the amount stated in the final column of the Schedule to this notice.
