Amending a Notice Declaring Land Acquired

for Hydro Electric Power Generation—

City of Dunedin

Pursuant to section 55 of the Public Works Act 1981, and to
a delegation from the Minister for Land Information,
Stephen Robert Gilbert, Land Information New Zealand,
hereby amends the notice dated the 11th day of May 1994,
Declaring Land Acquired for Hydro Electric Power
Generation in the City of Dunedin, published in the
New Zealand Gazette, 19 May 1994, No. 48, page 1714, by
adding the words

"and Part Section 17, Block V"

and reformatting the description of "P6" in the Schedule to
read

Restriction on Construction of Building Structure

—State Highway No. 7, Lewis Pass Road,

Hurunui District

Pursuant to section 236 of the Public Works Act 1981, and
to a delegation from the Minister for Land Information,
Warwick Edward Quinn, Land Information New Zealand,
declares the land described in the Schedule to be subject to
the following restriction:

Any owner of the land, the subject of the covenant, shall
be prohibited from constructing or positioning any
building structure on the land, or allowing any building
structure to be constructed or positioned on the land,
saving and excepting that the owner may erect stock
proof fencing within the area.

Amendment to a Notice—Classifying a Reserve

Under the Reserves Act 1977, the Community Relations
Manager for the East Coast Hawke’s Bay Conservancy of
the Department of Conservation amends an error in the notice
classifying a reserve, dated the 15th day of August 2003 and
published in the New Zealand Gazette, 28 August 2003,
page 3213, by adding after the words

"as scenic reserve"

the words

"for the purposes specified in section 19 (1) (a) of
the Act".

Under the Reserves Act 1977, the Community Relations
Manager for the East Coast Hawke’s Bay Conservancy of
the Department of Conservation classifies the reserve
described in the Schedule as a scenic reserve for the
purposes specified in section 19 (1) (a) of the Act.

Classification of Reserve

Under the Reserves Act 1977, the Community Relations
Manager for the Wanganui Conservancy of the Department
of Conservation classifies the reserve described in the
Schedule as a scenic reserve for the purposes specified in
section 19 (1) (a) of the Act and further declares the reserve
is to be known as Taungatara Scenic Reserve.
