Notice of Appointment of a Commissioner at Ohariu Model School (2932)
Pursuant to section 78N (3) of the Education Act 1989,
I hereby dissolve the board of Ohariu Model School and
appoint a commissioner to the school.
All functions, powers and duties of the board of Ohariu
Model School are to be vested in the commissioner.
This notice takes effect the day after the date of its
publication.

Education (Early Childhood Centres) Regulations 1998
Cancellation of Licence for an Early Childhood Centre
Pursuant to Regulation 12 (1) (d) (i) of the Education
(Early Childhood Centres) Regulations 1998, and acting
under authority delegated by the Secretary for Education,
I hereby cancel the licence dated 31 October 2002, which
was granted under those Regulations to Deborah Bonisich
in respect of Bright Eyes Daycare (55194), situated at
5 Vigor Brown Street, Napier.
This notice shall take effect the day after the date of its
notification in the New Zealand Gazette.

Cancellation of Licence for an Early Childhood Centre
Pursuant to Regulation 12 (1) (d) (ii) of the Education
(Early Childhood Centres) Regulations 1998, and acting
under authority delegated by the Secretary for Education,
I hereby cancel the licence dated 14 February 2002, which
was granted under those Regulations to Avril Dalzell in
respect of Surrey Park ELC Infants (65122), situated at
55 Isabella Street, Invercargill.
This notice shall take effect the day after the date of its
notification in the New Zealand Gazette.

Energy Efficiency and Conservation Act 2000
Energy Efficiency (Amendments to Incorporated Material) Notice 2003
Pursuant to the Energy Efficiency and Conservation Act
2000, the Minister of Energy gives the following notice.
Notice
- Under section 37 (4) of the Energy Efficiency and
Conservation Act 2000, I give notice that the following
amendments to the standards which are listed in Schedule 1
and Schedule 2 of the Energy Efficiency (Energy Using
Products) Regulations 2002 (“the Regulations”) are part of
the Regulations:
(a) Amendment 2 to AS/NZS 3823.1.2: 2001
Performance of electrical appliances – Air
conditioners and heat pumps – Part 1.2: Test methods
– Ducted air conditioners and air-to-air heat pumps –
Testing and rating for performance.
(b) 2003 Revision to AS/NZS 2007.1: Performance of
household electrical appliances – Dishwashers –
Energy consumption and performance.
(c) 2003 Revision to AS/NZS 2007.2: Performance of
household electrical appliances – Dishwashers –
Energy labelling requirements.
- These amendments take effect as part of the Regulations
on the 7th day after the date of publication of this notice in
the New Zealand Gazette.

Explanatory Note
The Energy Efficiency (Energy Using Products) Regulations
2002 incorporate by reference certain standards. The
standards incorporated by reference that relate to air
conditioners and dishwashers have been amended. This
notice specifies the date upon which the amendments to the
standards take effect as part of the Regulations.
