Pursuant to section 114 of the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister for Land Information, Stephen Robert Gilbert, Land Information New Zealand, declares the land described in the Schedule to this notice to be road and shall vest in the Tasman District Council on the date of publication of this notice in the New Zealand Gazette.

Reserves Act 1977

Classification of Reserve

Under the Reserves Act 1977, the Community Relations Manager for the East Coast Hawke’s Bay Conservancy of the Department of Conservation classifies the reserve described in the Schedule as a historic reserve for the purposes specified in section 18 (1) of the Act.

Revocation of a Notice Relating to Classification of Reserve and Vesting in Masterton District Council and Issue of a Fresh Notice

Under section 6 (3) of the Reserves Act 1977, and by reason of an error made in the notice described subsequently, the Conservator for the Wellington Conservancy of the Department of Conservation revokes the notice headed Classification of Reserve and Vesting in Masterton District Council and published in the New Zealand Gazette, 29 May 2003, No. 57, page 1619, and issues the following notice as a fresh notice in its place.

Classification of Reserve and Vesting in Masterton District Council

Under the Reserves Act 1977, the Conservator for the Wellington Conservancy of the Department of Conservation classifies the reserve described in the Schedule as a recreation reserve, subject to the provisions of the Act, and further vests the reserve in the Masterton District Council in trust for recreation purposes.

Wellington Land District—Masterton District

6.2650 hectares, more or less, being Section 148, Masterton Small Farms Settlement (part certificate of title WN455/219).

7.0041 hectares, more or less, being part Lot 3, D.P. 4084 (part certificate of title WN455/219).

Revocation of a Notice Relating to a Reserve and Issue of Fresh Notice

Under section 6 (3) of the Reserves Act 1977, and by reason of an error made in the notice described subsequently, the Community Relations Manager revokes the notice headed Classification of Reserve dated the 19th day of March 2003 and published in the New Zealand Gazette, 27 March 2003, No. 30, page 852, and issues the following notice as a fresh notice in its place.

Classification of Reserve

Under the Reserves Act 1977, the Community Relations Manager for the Otago Conservancy of the Department of Conservation classifies the reserve described in the Schedule as a scenic reserve for the purposes specified in section 19 (1) (a) of the Act.

183.2330 hectares, more or less, being Section 4, S.O. 24769.

Notice Redefining the Purposes of a Māori Reservation

Whereas by notice published in the New Zealand Gazette, 10 November 1949, No. 69, page 2637, the Māori freehold lands known as Mimitu Ruarei 22J and Mimitu Ruarei 22K1 created by partition orders dated 6 December 1943 and 18 January 1949 respectively were set apart as a Māori reservation for the common use of the Māori people of the Pakotai District as a recreation ground and hall site.
