Notice of Intention to Take Land for Road—Adjoining State Highway No. 3, North of Mission Road
Notice is hereby given that the Crown, under the provisions of section 23 of the Public Works Act 1981, proposes to take the land described in the Schedule hereto (“the land”).
The land is required for limited access road and it is intended to use the land to form part of State Highway No. 3.
The intended taking is considered reasonably necessary for the safe and convenient use of the road.
The land use is in accordance with the designation under the district plan.
The owner of the land and those persons with a registered interest in it have been served with notice of the Crown’s intention to take their land and their right to object.
Any other person having the right to object may send a written objection to the Registrar, Environment Court, Tribunals Division, Department for Courts, P.O. Box 5027, Wellington, within 20 working days after the date of publication of this notice.
If any objection is made in accordance with this notice, a public hearing will be heard with the right of the objector to appear and be heard personally, unless the objector otherwise requires, and each objector will be informed of the time and place of the hearing.

18 square metres, being part of part section 244 of the Right Bank, Wanganui River, situate in the Westmere Survey District and being part of the land contained in certificate of title 518/251, subject to caveat 13703; shown as “Section 8” on S.O. Plan 38362, lodged in the office of the Chief Surveyor, Land Information New Zealand, at Wellington.
The land to be taken is formed as road and is situated immediately west of the intersection of State Highway No. 3 and Wicksteed Road.

Notice of Intention to Take a Right of Way Interest for the Wellington Inner City Bypass—Tonks Avenue, Wellington
Notice is hereby given that the Crown, under the provisions of section 23 of the Public Works Act 1981, proposes to take the right of way interest described in the Schedule hereto (“the right of way interest”), with the effect that on acquisition, the right of way interest will be deemed to be surrendered and extinguished.
The land over which the right of way interest lies is required for the construction of the Wellington Inner City Bypass, Wellington (“the bypass”).
The physical access currently provided by the right of way will be replaced by direct access to the road.
The intention of the bypass is to alleviate congestion in the inner city.
The intended taking is considered reasonably necessary for construction of the bypass.
All possible alternatives have been considered.
All adjoining land but for the owners’ interest has been acquired for the bypass.
The land use is in accordance with the designation under the district plan.
The owner of the land with the benefit of the right of way interest, Peter Moron, has been served with notice of the Crown’s intention to take the right of way interest and the right to object.
The owner of the right of way interest has the dominant tenement interest in the right of way.
Any other person having the right to object may send a written objection to the Registrar, Environment Court, Tribunals Division, Department for Courts, P.O. Box 5027, Wellington, within 20 working days after the date of publication of this notice.
If any objection is made in accordance with this notice, a public hearing will be held.
The objector will have a right to appear and be heard personally unless the objector otherwise requires.
Each objector will be informed of the time and place of the hearing.
