management.
The following functions, powers and duties of the board are
vested in the limited statutory manager:
- Management of health and safety of students and staff;
- personnel management including performance
management and appraisal of staff; - development and monitoring of management structures,
including delegations and inter-staff communications; - implementation of the action plan; and
- hostel management.
The limited statutory manager must also advise the board on
the following matters:
- Curriculum management;
- financial management;
- property management;
- board/community relations; and
- roles and responsibilities of governance.
The following conditions apply to the exercising of the
powers of the board and the limited statutory manager:
- Advice will be sought from the New Zealand School
Trustees Association industrial advisers in all personnel
matters; - the trust board will be consulted as appropriate and
advised of progress; and - the powers of the limited statutory manager shall be
exercised in consultation with the board.
This notice takes effect the day after the date of publication
of this notice.
