Telecommunications Act 2001

Determination of Terms of Supply

On 16 May 2002, TelstraClear Limited applied, under section 20 of the Telecommunications Act 2001 (“the Act”), for
the Commerce Commission to determine terms of supply for 308 retail services offered by means of Telecom’s fixed
telecommunications network.

On 12 May 2003, the Commerce Commission determined, under section 27 of the Act, terms and conditions with respect to
which 98 of those retail services must be supplied (“Decision 497”).

Decision to Investigate CallPlus Wholesale Application

On 20 December 2002, CallPlus Limited applied, under section 20 of the Telecommunications Act 2001 (“the Act”), for
the Commerce Commission to determine terms of supply for retail services offered by means of Telecom’s fixed
telecommunications network and retail services offered by means of Telecom’s fixed telecommunications network as part of a
bundle of retail services (“the application”).

Pursuant to section 25 (1) (c) of the Act, the Commerce Commission gives public notice that it has decided, under
section 25 of the Act, to investigate the application, insofar as it concerns retail services offered by Telecom’s fixed
telecommunications network, and not to investigate the application insofar as it concerns retail services offered as parts of
bundles of retail services.

to read

in that heading.

Amendment to Transit New Zealand Bylaw 2003/8: Bylaw Regulating the Speed of Vehicles on State Highways: Transit New Zealand Regions 3 and 4

Pursuant to section 61 (3) of the Transit New Zealand Act 1989, Transit New Zealand hereby amends the above bylaw
as follows.

Amendment

  1. This amendment shall come into force 28 days after its publication in the New Zealand Gazette.

  2. In the Second Schedule, insert clause 17 (d):

    At Whakatane, commencing at a point 310 metres west of Gateway Drive, proceeding in a generally easterly
    direction to a point 350 metres west of the Whakatane River Bridge (Route Position 219/8.97 to Route Position
    219/9.92); a distance of 950 metres.

This amendment is made by delegated authority from the Transit New Zealand Authority.
