Termination of Dumping Investigation: Glass Wool Insulation From Chinese Taipei

Notice is hereby given that, acting pursuant to section 11 of the Dumping and Countervailing Duties Act 1988, I have terminated a dumping investigation in respect of glass wool insulation from Chinese Taipei, β€œthe subject goods” as described in the Notice of Initiation of Dumping Investigation of 1 November 2002 (New Zealand Gazette, 7 November 2002, page 4092) imported or intended to be imported into New Zealand.

I have terminated the investigation because I am satisfied that under section 11 (1) (b), there is insufficient evidence that material injury to a New Zealand industry has been or is being caused or is threatened or the establishment of an industry has been or is being materially retarded by means of the dumping or subsidisation of the goods.

Dated at Christchurch this 24th day of April 2003.

LIANNE DALZIEL, Minister of Commerce.
