Naseby Fire District Notice, May 2003
Pursuant to section 26 of the Fire Service Act 1975, the New Zealand Fire Service Commission hereby gives the following notice.
Notice
- This notice may be cited as the Naseby Fire District Notice, May 2003.
- This notice shall come into force on 30 May 2003.
- This notice revokes and is in substitution for all previous fire district notices for the Naseby Fire District.
Constitution of a Fire District
- The urban areas of Naseby are hereby constituted as a Fire District.
- The boundary of the constituted fire district is defined and delineated on a plan held at the National Headquarters, New Zealand Fire Service, Wellington.

Land Transport Safety Authority
Land Transport Act 1998
Authorisation to Issue New Evidence of Vehicle Inspection
Pursuant to section 115 (2) of the Land Transport Act 1998 (“the Act”) and under delegated authority, I, John Patrick White, Manager Safer Vehicles, authorise the persons in Schedule 2 to issue new evidence of vehicle inspection for a vehicle in Schedule 1.
Schedule 1
A vehicle that has been issued with a notice directing that it is not to be driven on a road under:
(a) section 96 (1B) of the Act by an enforcement officer who seizes or impounds (or authorises the impoundment of) the vehicle under section 96 (1A); or
(b) section 115 (1) of the Act by an enforcement officer who believes that it is being operated with a silencer that is not effective or in good working order in breach of Regulation 81 of the Traffic Regulations 1976.
Schedule 2
Vehicle inspectors who are employed by:
- New Zealand Automobile Association Incorporated
- On Road New Zealand Limited
- Vehicle Inspection NZ Limited
- Vehicle Testing New Zealand Limited

Conservation Act 1987
Declaration that a Marginal Strip is Not Required
Under section 24B (4) (b) of the Conservation Act 1987, the Minister of Conservation declares that the marginal strip requirements set out in section 24 of the Act shall not apply in the case of the disposition of the land required for electricity works in connection with the Waikaremoana Power Scheme specified in the Schedule.
