Amendment to a Notice—Revocation of the Reservation Over a Reserve

Pursuant to the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Conservation, the Community Relations Manager for the Southland Conservancy of the Department of Conservation hereby amends an error in the notice dated the 23rd day of December 2002 and published in the New Zealand Gazette, 9 January 2003, No. 1, page 75, by replacing the words

“Bluff District”
in the Schedule with
“Invercargill City”.

in the Schedule with
“951 square metres”.

“0.132 square metres”
in the Schedule with
“132 square metres”.

“marked “A” and “B” on S.O. Plan 258”
in the Schedule with

Resource Management Act 1991

Transfer of Esplanade Reserve

Under the Resource Management Act 1991, the Conservator for the Otago Conservancy of the Department of Conservation with the prior written agreement of the Clutha District Council, declares that the esplanade reserve described in the Schedule shall cease to be vested in and administered by the District Council but instead shall vest in the Crown and be classified as a Government purpose (wildlife management) reserve, subject to the Reserves Act 1977.

5.82 hectares, more or less, being Section 1, S.O. 24904.
