Fisheries (Chatham Islands Scallop Total Allowable Catch) Notice 2003 (No. F239)
Pursuant to section 13 of the Fisheries Act 1996, the Minister of Fisheries gives the following notice.
Notice

Title—This notice is the Fisheries (Chatham Islands Scallop Total Allowable Catch) Notice 2003.

Commencement—This notice comes into force on 31 March 2003.

Application—This notice applies on and after 1 April 2003.

Interpretation—In this notice, references to “quota management area” and “fishstock code” have the same meanings as in the Fisheries (Declaration of New Stock Subject to the Quota Management System) Notice 2001 (SR 2001/318).

Total Allowable Catch—On and from 1 April 2003 the total allowable catch for the Chatham Islands scallop quota management stock is that amount stated in the final column of the Schedule to this notice.

Pursuant to Regulation 10 of the Fisheries (South Island Customary Fishing) Regulations 1999, and acting under delegated authority, the Associate Minister of Fisheries hereby gives the following notice.
Notice
- Title and commencement—(1) This notice may be cited as the Fisheries (South Island Customary Fishing) Notice (No. 39) 2003.
(2) This notice shall come into effect the day after the date of its notification in the New Zealand Gazette.
- Interpretation—In this notice:
(a) The term “customary food gathering” has the same meaning as defined in the Fisheries (South Island Customary Fishing) Regulations 1999.
