Traffic Regulations 1976
The Traffic (Far North District) Notice 2003
Pursuant to Regulation 21 (2) of the Traffic Regulations 1976, and pursuant to an authority sub-delegated to me by the Land Transport Safety Authority of New Zealand dated 9 June 1997, I, Peter Graeme Croft, Manager, Safer Roads, give the following notice.

This notice may be cited as the Traffic (Far North District) Notice 2003.

The road specified in the Schedule is declared to be a 70 kilometres an hour speed limit area pursuant to Regulation 21 (2) of the Traffic Regulations 1976.

Situated within Far North District at Taipa and Cable Bay:
State Highway No. 10 (Pakaraka-Awanui via Mangonui):
From the eastern abutment of the Taipa Bridge to Stratford Drive.

The Traffic (Upper Hutt City) Notice 2003
Pursuant to sections 52 (1) and 52 (3) of the Transport Act 1962 and Regulation 21 (2) of the Traffic Regulations 1976, and pursuant to an authority sub-delegated to me by the Director of Land Transport Safety dated 9 June 1997, I, Peter Graeme Croft, Manager, Safer Roads, give the following notice.

This notice may be cited as the Traffic (Upper Hutt City) Notice 2003.

Those localities and roads within markings identified in the legend of and appearing on the plan LT0348/1, entitled “Speed Restriction Plan Upper Hutt City” and held by the head office of the Land Transport Safety Authority, are declared to be:
(a) closely populated localities at all times, pursuant to section 52 (1) of the Transport Act 1962; or
(b) 70 kilometres an hour speed limit areas, pursuant to Regulation 21 (2) of the Traffic Regulations 1976;
as may be ascertained from the legend. The plan and legend are hereby incorporated into this notice. -

Conservation Act 1987
Declaring Land to be Held for Conservation Purposes
Under section 7(1) of the Conservation Act 1987, the Conservator for the Otago Conservancy of the Department of Conservation and the Commissioner of Crown Lands acting under a delegation from the Minister for Land Information, being the Minister responsible for the department of State that has control of the land described in the Schedule, jointly declare that the land is held for conservation purposes.
