The allocation mechanism used is as set out and described in the Quota Allowance Allocation System in Respect of United States Beef and Veal Tariff Rate Quota, copies of which are available from the board.
Pursuant to section 5 of the Quota Allowance Allocation System in Respect of United States Beef and Veal Tariff Rate Quota, the allocation of Reserved Quota Allowance is conditional on new entrant companies meeting certain criteria and their annual production estimate.

Nurses Act 1977
Order of the Nursing Council in Disciplinary Session in Respect of a Registered General and Obstetric Nurse
After due inquiry and in exercise of its powers under sections 42 (1) (b), 42 (2) (a), 42 (3), 42 (9), 48A and 48F of the Nurses Act 1977, the Nursing Council of New Zealand (“the council”), in a decision dated 6 October 2003, ordered that the name of a registered general and obstetric nurse be removed from the Register of General and Obstetric Nurses.
It also ordered that the nurse may apply for re-instatement after one year.
The council furthermore ordered that the nurse pay $4,720.00 (being 25%) towards the actual cost and expenses of and incidental to the investigation and prosecution by the director of proceedings and inquiry by the council, and ordered that a notice stating the effect of these orders be published in the New Zealand Gazette, Kai Tiaki: Nursing New Zealand, the council’s newsletter and be provided to accredited members of the press upon request with the names of all parties and identifying details of the case suppressed.

After due inquiry and in exercise of its powers under sections 42 (1) (b), 42 (2) (b), 42 (3), 48A and 48F of the Nurses Act 1977, the Nursing Council of New Zealand (“the council”), in a decision dated 6 October 2003, ordered that a registered general and obstetric nurse and midwife be suspended for a period of 12 months.
The council also ordered that the nurse pay $3,770.00 (being 20%) towards the actual costs and expenses of and incidental to the investigation and prosecution by the director of proceedings and inquiry by the council, and ordered that a notice stating the effect of these orders be published in the New Zealand Gazette, Kai Tiaki: Nursing New Zealand, and the nursing council’s newsletter with the names of all parties and identifying features of the case suppressed.

Occupational Therapy (Fees) Amendment Notice 2003
Pursuant to section 30A of the Occupational Therapy Act 1949, the following notice is given.
Notice
- Title and commencement—(1) This notice may be cited as the Occupational Therapy (Fees) Amendment Notice 2003 and should be read in conjunction with the notice published in the New Zealand Gazette, 20 February 2003, page 454.
(2) This notice comes into force on 23 January 2004, unless otherwise stated.

Fees—The Occupational Therapy Board sets the following fees payable to the board specified in the attached Schedule.

Tax—The fees are inclusive of goods and services tax.
